Zapatistas (Laser Dye Project)

NT$ 4,080.00 / On Sale

Laser Dye Project:
Inspired by the oldest photographic printing process "cyanotype", laser dye is a project of optical dyeing process for 3D objects, the printing is by programable 405nm laser beam triggered by audio data in real time, same mechanical function as SLA printers. The "dyeing" result appears like integration of digital print and hand-made cyanotype, applicable materials including wood, bones, paper, plant fibre...etc. The process is not constrained for plane surface and there's no need for negative film production, this coating technique is still under developing looking for other possible soft and graphical circuit, computational drawing applications.
